How do I mark a gift as sent or received?

When your Gift Exchange is underway, you will have the option to mark your gift as sent once you have placed your gift in the mail, or received once your gift has been delivered to you.

When your Gift Exchange is underway, you will have the option to mark your gift as sent once you have placed your gift in the mail, or received once your gift has been delivered to you.

  1. Select Exchanges in the menu or the navigation bar
  2. Select the Exchange you would like to mark a gift as sent or received
  3. Go to your Gift Exchange page
  4. Select the “mark a gift as purchased” button
    1. in the apps it's the “mark gift as sent” button
  5. Confirm you’ve sent the gift
  6. Enter the carrier and tracking number and any notes you might want to share
    1. in the iOS and Android apps, select add shipping info —> to enter tracking information
  7. Select the save button
  8. Your tracking number will be sent to your gift recipient 👏 - don't worry, they won't see your name
  9. The next screen will allow you to Mark as Sent or Received.
  10. If you are marking that you have sent your gift, you will have the ability to enter tracking or shipping information that will be sent to the recipient to let them know a gift is on the way. They will not see your name.
  11. If you choose to not mark the gift as sent and they mark the gift as received, the Sent button will disappear and you won't be able to enter tracking information. That shouldn't be necessary if they've received the gift.
  12. If you are marking a gift as received, you may also send a thank you note to be sent as an email as well as a post in the Activity Feed. This note may also include an uploaded photo of your gift.
