As the Organizer, you can determine how much information your Guests can see about each other. These options are found under Manage Settings in the Organizer menu in the Privacy Settings section.
Privacy options available in ALL platforms:
Do not send birthday alerts to exchange members.
This option is helpful for an online community Elfster Gift exchange among individuals who don't know each other in real life.
Do not draw names automatically on the draw names date
This requires the Organizer to draw names manually, which can happen either before or after the sign-up date has passed.
Do not send emails about wall posts unless it is from me.
This option limits the number of emails guests will receive.
Hide Invitee List
Only the Organizer and their Assistant(s) will be able to see the Invitee List.
Notify me when others reply or view their draw.
This allows you to get notifications when others reply or view their draw for the exchange.
How to Select Privacy Settings
Click on Exchanges located in the menu bar
Select the Gift Exchange you are organizing
Click ⚙️Manage Exchange under the Exchange title and image
View Privacy Settings
Select the privacy settings of your choice for the Gift Exchange by clicking the toggle.
Selecting the box next to each option will activate that privacy selection. Once privacy options are selected for a Gift Exchange, future Gift Exchanges will default to those privacy options.
