Settings on your Elfster Wishlist include the name, who can see it, and an optional note, which you can use to describe your Wishlist or include your favorite color, clothing size, scents or styles you like, etc.
✨ Elf Tip: Adding the optional note to your Wishlist is a great way to let others know about things you collect, favorite items, or even things you'd prefer not to get.
This may be things you are allergic to or already have enough of. ✨
Changing the Settings for your Elfster Wishlist on Laptop or Desktop:
- Click Wishlists at the top of any Elfster homepage. (or bottom on mobile devices)
- Select the Wishlist you would like to change the settings for. If you only have one Wishlist, you will skip this step.
- Click the Gear icon to the right of the Wishlist name (for iOS and Android click Edit)
- Edit the Wishlist name by clicking in the field and typing a new name for your Wishlist.
- Change the type of Wishlist by selecting a different checkbox:
- Public - Anyone with an Elfster account can see your Wishlist. This is also the setting you'll need to share your Wish List link with someone who doesn't have an Elfster account.
- Limited - Select one or more of the Elfster Gift Exchanges you are in whose members you would like to be able to see your Wishlist. If you are looking for your Gift Exchange name and do not see it, you will need to choose the name of the Group (usually the name of the first Gift Exchange you did with that Group of people).
- Limited - Individual: Choose one person you are "following" who can see your Wishlist.
- Private - Only you can see your Wishlist.
- Remember to Save your changes.
