Presents are wonderful, but doubles are trouble! Here is how to show future gifters that a wish has been purchased.
When you mark a wish as purchased, other people viewing the Wishlist will see that the item has already been bought and can choose a different gift.
Don't worry—your secret is safe! The Wishlist owner won't be notified or see that the wish has been marked as purchased, so your surprise stays a surprise. 🎁
To mark an item as purchased, you need to be logged into your Elfster account.
How to mark an item as purchased
Go to the person’s Wishlist. 💫
Select Mark as Purchased next to the item you bought.
If the person requested multiple quantities, you’ll be prompted to enter how many you purchased.
Confirm your purchase, and you’re all set! ✨
Other people viewing the Wishlist will see that the item has been purchased, but the Wishlist owner won’t be notified or see who purchased it. Your surprise stays a secret! 🎁
If you accidentally mark the wrong item, select Undo Mark as Purchased.
