Pre-draw instructions for getting the invitation to the right email address for someone in your Gift Exchange.
If a person in your Elfster Gift Exchange hasn't registered their account yet, you'll be able to update their email address in your Gift Exchange.
If they have a registered account, you will NOT be able to update their information.
Editing the Email Address of a Participant
Click on Exchanges located in the menu bar
Select the Gift Exchange you are organizing
Go to your Guest List and review each guest
Click the three stacked dots next to their name
Select Change Guest Info and enter the correct information
If you invited a participant who does not have a registered Elfster account, there will be a Change User Info option. Select the Change User Info option to update their email address by clicking in the field, erasing the email address in the field, and typing the new email address.
If the participant you invited already has an Elfster Account, you will need to have them reach out to Elfster directly due to our privacy policy.
Select Continue
✨ Elf Tip ✨ If your participants have a Hotmail or Yahoo account for emails, your invitation email may have been sent to their junk mail. Please have them add [email protected] to their trusted contacts. This helps ensure your Gift Exchange is fun.
Please note, only the account owner can update or change the email address associated with their registered account. If they forget how to log in to their account, they can email us at [email protected].
